I just stumbled upon your blog. Nka try gyud ko ani nya when I was in my teens 15 yrs old tingali ko. Grabe maka baba gyud. Wa nako na kaya iyang gipang sulti oi nka hilak ko pag bayad na nako sa secretary then people started wondering nanu ko. Well anyway this happened 5 yrs ago pud. ;)

I was also a patient but i have no plans of going back to his clinic ever again. I did not have any unpleasent experiences with him though but i do not like his secretaries. They are rude and arrogant and demeaning to the patients. We patients are the doctors' bread and butter. We should be treated with respect and courtesy. We are paying patients by God! And he's not a loss to us. Like hell there a lot of competetive detmatologists in the place!!!

I was a patient of him, at first he was so rude. I did not like how he talked to us (i was with my mother) but then as we were about to go, he became nice. BIPOLAR much?

Most unprofessional, insensitive doctor I have ever met. With 3 kids and being a paramedical graduate myself, you can just imagine the number of doctors I've met and I must say this doctor is the worst. The only medical professional I have been to who attends to his patients and at the same time browse the internet! So, when he is giving you his "divided" attention, masuko na nuon nga wa siya kasabot sa akong gipanulti! My experience with him didn't end there, I got so agitated wala jud nako na avoid makaluha, ang reaction niya has baffled me. Instead to feel sorry, he repeatedly shook his head as if na irritate siya! Di na ko mobalik niya. That was my first and last visit with him, nangita kog laing derma and ako jud gi istoryahan ang among GP nga nag refer niya sa maot nga batasan aning Verallo. To the point na I shared my experience on my fb account advising my friends to look for other derma if and when they should need help. Angay jud iyang batasan sa iyang profession, superficial ra kaayo.

And to think, bago rko nahutdan ug uban nah cream this december but naa pakoy 2 kinds na bilin.. so, ako gitawagan ang clinic, ako gipasabot. Sus, dli jud daw kay dugay nadaw ko ni buy. Ako ignan nah sa tinuod ug d jud mo sugot kay ask padaw nila c doc. Omg! Galagot nko. High school pako patient nako ninyo then ingon ani inyo pagtreat sa inyo patient? Wala moy trust sa inyo patient na ni sulti sa tinuod? For pila ka yrs. Ni trust ko sa inyong clinic then in return wala d.i moy salig?

I also had a VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I am Verallo's patient since I was still in highschool, hantod ni work nalang ko. After 1 year ko pabalikon, nawa ang receipt so I totally forgot when to go back. I asked my mom to go to their clinic but naka vacation leave sha until I got very busy and medyo nalimtan jud og balik but nibalik jud ko and yea I was with my mom that time. He got really very mad. He was already shouting and he kept on saying the word "BULLSHIT" I hate being bulshitted char unsaon nako pag balik niya kung ang oras sa ako work conflict pirme sa ya sched kung madugay og adto di na dawaton sa secretary, kng dawaton man gani, pila pod ka oras mag huwat. Iya man gani gi SHAGITAN AKO MOM LIKE MY GOD haha sure ka doc? ing ana najud ka dako ang ulo ba. Pinpointan pag finger ako mom. Tulala jud ko niya I was so shocked nga naa diay ing ana ka unprofessional nga doctor. Ingnan pa kog get out di na daw ko pabalikon. I'm planning to transfer to another dermatologist, someone nga di ta "OBLIGED" jud kaayo mo buy sa daghan kaayong mahal nga tambal haha og someone nga di bastos nga baba nga doctor.

I went there with my 21 year-old son then. Then he insulted my son and insulted me as well. Niendure lang jud ko and nagpaubos. But after the second visit, my son decided not to go back for his skin problem, and I did not go back for mine either.First doctor na walay ethics that I have met in my entire life! Isn't it possible to report him to the doctors' association or something? Luoy man ang uban na iyang insultuhon gud... Can we do something about it?

Way batasan nga doktor, grabe kaayo mu-down sa iyang pasyente. Kung makapamalikas og pasyente murag way bukog og way grado. Dapat niya matangtangan og lisensya.

I agress with some of the comments here. The good Dr. Verallo is not as good a doctor as people claim.

Had severe acne before. Twas never resolved because the good docto prescribed me so many worthless topical and oral antibiotics which were useless.

I learned now that im older that is not the eay to go for severe acne.

Dermatologists are businessmen and they value money above all else so they will prescribe you all sorts of medicines guess who you need to buy these meds from :)

So meds work a little bit then it stops working after a few months then you back again and spend more money on meds that will only work for another few months.

Its a technique to keep the money flowing :)

Indeed, I feel vindicated after reading all the comments above written. I too had a similar bad experience with Dr. Vicente Verallo. He scolded me kay dugay ko nagpatambal sa akong skin diseases, without understanding the reason. Hapit wa ko niya resitahi. Hambogero pa kaayo mosulti nga tanan daw molingkod sa iyang atubangan, iyang ayohon. Wa gani ko totally naayo sa iyang tambal. Hasta iyang secretary og tig-dispense sa mga medicine liwat niya og batasan; mga strikta, insensitive ug di managad. I have vowed not to go back to that clinic anymore. hi! i have been a loyal patient, been purchasing their medicines for several years, religiously doing annual check ups... good thing they never mistreated me as mentioned by almost everyone.. I could still remember the last annual check up where in he made an illustration as to how our face tissues thingy work and so on and so forth. It was more of educational convo for me. He indeed cure my severe acnes in no time. The reason why I continue doing annual check ups and using his meds... Not until last week my mother went there to purchase my meds, unfortunately the secretary did not give her any since the last purchased we made was September of last year and then I will have my regular or annual check up this month. My mother said we purchased ample amount for meds good for months since it's hassle to always go there and wait for almost 3 hours just to get them.. unfortunately, the secretary told my mom that the doctor will get mad at me, I'm sorry. Just have your daughter go back from scratch as in doing the consultation again thingy as if I am a new patient.. reading all of these hilarious comments right after you missed your scheduled visit nor when the last purchased of your meds was way too long.. i would expect the same thing would happen to me... so i'd rather switch or try different beauty products than experience all these inhuman treatment

I have always believed that doctors are God's instrument in healing people's ailments and uplifting their spirit as well. Every personal experience with our doctors should suppose to leave a smile in our face, give hope in our hopeless situations and boost our already dreadening spirit, but the aforementioned stories in this thread prove otherwise. What a pity.... i pity the patients for having been lambasted in a demeaning manner to no less than someone whom we consider a professional, educated, and well known person in the medical industry. But moreso, i pity doctor verallo for possessing such an unbecoming behavior which only degrades his very self - a behavior that is unacceptable to humanity that values respect and love for fellowmen. All our undertakings however high and mighty are nothing if we have no love.

Why have i wasted my time writing on this? Search the doctor's name and finally stumble on this blog. It is because i have encountered the same experience which left me numb after i receive a verbal spanking from this doctor. How can he do that to me? all i needed was a healing touch from a doctor but what i got was an outright "kasaba" without even looking at the area where i wanted to get healed. It looks like i paid 450 just to be scolded. Had i known that such incident would happen, i would not have step on that office in the first place.

God bless u Dr Verallo. May God pour his spirit of gentleness and love in your heart so you may do thesame to your patients. For in the end, what matters most in life are not the positions we have in society, the fat bank accounts, the cozy office, the sleek luxurious car or the Paris vacation, what matters most in life is how we were able to love our fellowmen.

Indeed attitude is everything. I maybe the best doctor, therapist, lawyer, manager in the whole world but if my attitude demeans humanity and degrades their being then all my effort is futile and nil for i shall be passing through in this world with such 'legacy'. We are suppose to bloom where we are planted whatever profession we are in. To whom much is given, much is required. So God bless to us all who have been given such huge responsibility in this passing world. I am a manager in a company and unfortunately have been treated thesame way by this doctor.

I am looking for a dermatologist here in Cebu City. I have heard of this doctor from a long way back. I also heard about how this doctor rants, but never as described above. "Kasab-an ko's ako derma..." was the first-hand account. I would say this doctor has missed his life-calling and his medical oaths were outshined by the luster of money. I doubt if he ever got educated by this so and so number of years in the academe, not to mention the countless conventions he attended. No, diplomas are not guarantees for education. He is a learned person, yes, and he believed the white coat can cloak his lack of education. A lot of people know how he treats his patients but I wonder why none has stepped out to put his grave oral defamation legal and official. Perhaps one of these days a video of his ranting will finally be uploaded.

Naka pa check.up ko niya longtime ago.. his effective and i think xperienced cya nga doctor with the attitude lang... his medicine were effective" the older in the bussiness the better" you just have to deal with the attitude, pero maayo nga doktor to tell you guys....

I can definitely attest to how cruel this supposed "good" doctor can be. I was a patient and he was the first doctor who monitored my disease. I have an incurable disease and was in and out of the hospital a lot. After a while, I was able to stay home longer than normal and was blessed that I didn't have to be admitted to the hospital as often. With that said, I had scheduled visits to see Dr. Verallo. I knew then that he was very keen on following the scheduled visits because he told me to religiously keep track of our appointments. Also, because I was on serious medications and he had to ensure that we taper them slowly. But there was an incident where I missed to see him for like 2 months and he freaked out at me. I wasn't able to explain because he yelled at me and said that he wouldn't want to handle my case anymore. He said "Di ko magtugatuga ug handle aning case nimo kay kung mamatay kay, ako ang mapasanginlan. May ng sa uban ka mamatay." I was dumbfounded. My mom was an OBGYNE and I have been around doctors all my childhood days up until my teens because she'd take me with her to meetings and I'd also keep watch sa clinic most days. We are all humans, imperfect beings but I have never seen a professional let alone a doctor treat their patients with utter disrespect before. I am definitely at the mercy of doctors in my earthly life but the last say comes for God. And scripture says Proverbs 15:2 "The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness."

Purya gaba jud ning dr. I’ve been with different doctors before, but to my surprise of my existence in this world karun pako ug doctor na bastos! Walay modo bisan irong boang dili jud maka-ton sa iyaha batasan. murag demonyo na nigawas gikan sa imperno! Yes! The behavior and attitude of this kind of person is unacceptable..He might have some behavior problem that needs to be treated.If you are doing this to your patients everyday, HELL something wrong with you mentally.Doc, you need to go to mental health doctor.You are calling your patients "Buang"?!!I think you are the one who is "Buang" Doc.

Seems like tinood ni tanan inyo gipang post diri about Dr. Verallo. Kay ako pag umangkon ako gi refer niya, na naunsa nga gipangkasaban man daw niya. D ko makatuo kay iya man ko pasyente sa una, dugay na no on cguro 20 years ago, maayo man iya attitude towards nako. Maski ma delayed ako pag follow-up sa iyaa, wa ko experience nga nasuko cya. D kaha kay tigolang na cya mao nga dali ra cya mangasaba. Kinahanglan na cya I report. Hopefully maka- encounter cya ug mosokol niya para tagam na cya :)

Ang ako sad nabantayan ani ni Dr verallo while sige pko balik2 sa iya clinic sauna (been his patient from 2013 to 2015), strikto kaau xa when it comes to following the regimen nga iya ihatag. Dghan kaau ko ato medications because of my cystic acne, and naa pko oral antibiotics at first aside sa layers of creams and hapdus na mga solutions iya giprescribe. I think mas nkahilak ko sa kahapdus sa tambal kaysa sa iya words. Hehehehe.. nkatawa lng ko nkarecall sa ako experience ni Dr verallo. At first reklamo ko nya k hapdus iya gipanghatag na meds, giingnan lng ko na if ganahan ko maayo k antuson lng nko ang kasakit k dli man daw na permanente. Expected pa nko na hatagan ko nya ug another tambal nga dli kaau sakit, pero wla jud xa nisugot-- i think because niimprove man jud ako skin after a week lng nga ngfollow ko sa iya treatment plan. I think focused kaau si Dr verallo sa ako skin condition and murag dli kaau mumatter nya ang feelings/emotions sa iya patient during sa treatment. As long as niwork ang meds, mao rana iya concern. So if you decide on Dr verallo to take care of your skin, dont expect anything else other than the treatment saimu skin. Antusa lng muna ang kasakit sa tambal, as long as niwork ra wla ra nay kaso---its a phase you have to go through to a clearer skin.. and another good thing diay sa treatment ni dr verallo k i thought for life na ang meds, although nghinay2 xa ug kagamay. nahadlok ko ato mustop eventhough clear na ako skin. But then i had to stop k sa NZ nko ngpuyo. Kuyawan pko atfirst bsin mubalik ang acne pgkaubus sa meds, but wla njud nibalik ang cystic acne. Pasalamat kaau ko ni dr verallo saiya treatment despite wla xay concern sko feelings during sa treatment, pasalamat sad kaau ko sa ako pag-antus sa kasakit nipaid off rjud tanan. Si dr verallo medyo difficult xa nga doctor k dli maminaw sa mga reklamo sa patient, pero maau jud kaau xa mgtreat sa skin problems. You just have to follow everything he says. Medyo pricey sad iya mga meds but ginanipis rjud nko ug butang para mkalast until sa next visit.. hehehehe.. when i read this post, my heart goes out to the writer dli lalim maingnan ka anang mga sakit na words while undergoing a painful skin treatment and sometimes acne can cause alot of emotional stress pjud and low self esteem... but maybe naay nkatrigger ni dr verallo nga mureact in such a way?

My pimples started breaking out when I was in 3rd year. Ugly. Freaking. Pimples. Like kanang mag pus-formation gyud. College ko nag start ug pa checkup ni Dr. Verallo, after a few months, ni hanap gyud akong bugas. Thingking nga okay na akong face, I did not immediately went back for my follow up checkup. When sadlyadly nibalik akong mga bugas, balik-Verallo sad ko. Then wa ko kebaw nga beast mode diay siya basta masuko. And vrabi, nakasab.an sad gyud ko niyag heavy. Akong gi ingnan nga since graduating ko, medyo lisod ang cash, iya ko gi explainan nga kung di daw ko gusto mas dako akong magasto, dapat checkup, balik gyud. Mao to, nakasabot ko. Pero human na, he almost kicked me out of his office. I just had to keep quiet the entire time and said that I was very sorry. He almost did not budge but eventually, he begrudgingly started to write his instructions for my new treatment. Effective si Doc, sakit lang gyud manulti - I.M.

I was his patient too for about 2 years, He never scolded me or anything, What I don't like is that his Secretaries are very disrespectful and ofcourse they would accomodate maybe 50 or 60 patients a day, so if your around 30+ you would go home and wait for sometime to go back, but if you will get late, they would be so mad as if you haven't paid for his PF. At first, his medications worked, he prescribed a lot of creams and Doxycycline for my oral Anti-biotics, until such time I developed tolerance for the said medicines and told me to change it and use higher spectrum, at that time, I told myself, I needed another doctor. I don't want to use higher anti biotics for acne's what if i will get a disease and what would happen? I Will need a stronger anti biotics then. I also realized he was alo not treating the "root" cause of my acne.. I scanned the internet and I found Dr. HOPE SOLANO from CDUH. In just less than a year, My acne cleared out!!!!! She is very accomodating and I did not use any anti biotics and only used one cream for my face.. from her name, you would really like to visit it.

Hello, Sige nko adto ni Dr Verallo mga 2014 pah pero sige lang ko undang pero gidawat mn gihapon ko nia. Depende pud sa rason. Siya ra gyud naka-ayo sa akoa cystic acne nga pwerteng dagkoa. Though naa gyud mga acne marks nga lawm sa ako face pero at least wala na mamalik ang murag bulkan nga mga acne nko. Tinuod nga pranka siya manulti pero gipalapos ra nko pikas dunggan kay kahibaw ko maayo siya na doctor. Gikan nko sa ubos na derma ug sa uban diha sikat wala ghapon ko naayo. Siya ra gyud. ;)

Hi. Vicente Verallo is my dad's doctor. Earlier, i went to his clinic to get my dad's med cert. I did not know na after a month sa check up sa kanya eh we couldn't get the med cert na since after a month of check up saka palang kukuha. Pwde naman sya mag sabi na hndi na pwde kumuha. Nakakaintindi naman ako. Pero nagulat ako ng sinabi ng secretary nya na kung maka tapon si Verallo ng Med cert ng papa ko is parang ordinaryong paper lang. Grabe doctor nga sya, pero dinaig pa nya ang mga tambay sa kanto sa pinakitang ugali nya. Like hello. Doctor ka diba? Tapos ganyan asta mo. actually sa tanan doctor nga ako na tryan his one of the best when it comes to derma medication.. although makita man gyud nmu sa iya the way sya mosulte nga medyo below the belt, pero wala nlang nku na g mind and importante nga ma treat ang akong problem and so far his the best doctor i have ever tried.

My dad is also his patient and has complained about his approach. Arrogant and does not respect his patients. An aspiration biopsy was taken from my dad and gikasaban pa ky ngreklamo y sakit. Very poor work ethics and to say that he can shout because it’s his clinic is very unprofessional of him. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit him!

I was his patient so long ago already. I can really see good effects of his medicine. They are really very effective. I wanted to ask if he still conducts consultation at this time of pandemic? especially that his clinic is very small and he has a lot of patients. Thank you.

I am not a patient of this so called doctor! When dealing with patients, doctors must exemplify standards of behavior including courtesy, respect, dignity, responsiveness, and attention to patient needs! Dili nimo singkahan or shagitan and call them names nga kuwang na lang nga murag mga iro nga imo lang patiran!

Hi guys ganahan lang ko mo share ba, secretary sad ko dha ni verallo kung grabe na sya mangasaba sa inyoha mga patients samot nas amoa mga secretary. Grabe na nakog hinilak ana iyang mga yawyaw bastos pa kaayo nag baba below the belt na kaayo. can u recommend good doctor? I want to change. Dr. Verallo is one of the best doctor despite of his attitude but his service got affected because the consultation is online. In my case I need to be treated personally like need to be injected and his secretaries replies you after 3 days though your situation is an emergency.
